String Algae Removal Tool
Developed in Germany by a mechanical engineer. The "Algae Witch™” is a simple and elegant tool designed to pull string algae from your lake or pond.
The heart of the device is the patent-pending round comb. When the brush – loaded with algae – is pulled back through the comb, the algae clot is neatly and cleanly stripped from the brush bristles into a waiting bucket.
Three easy steps to take String Algae away!
Insert the brush tip into a mass of String Algae. Twirl the handle around to wind the Algae hairs around the brush hairs. (Like spinning spaghetti around a fork!).
Pull the loaded brush from the pond and hold over a waiting bucket. Pull back on the handle. The brush passes through the patent-pending round comb which cleanly removes the Algae clot from the brush.
Simply push the handle back into the shaft and a cleaned brush is ready to attack more String Algae!
The device is rigidly constructed of Aluminum and stainless steel and will never rust. The brush has tough Nylon bristles and will last for many years.
From brush tip to handle-end, the unit is 72 inches (six feet) in length. Brush measures approximately 8".
