If you would like us to upgrade your dry good order to UPS Next Day Air, 2 Day Air or 3 Day Select, please advise us in the comments section during the checkout process. EXCEPTIONS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Aquatic plants must be ordered separately from other pond products as they are shipped via FEDEX. We do not ship aquatic plants outside of the continental U.S. The greenhouse ships aquatic plants on Mondays and Tuesdays. We cannot ship aquatic plants on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Aquatic plants are considered a separate order from dry goods and subject to flat shipping fees of $13.95 for orders shipping East of the Mississippi and $26.95 for orders shipping West of the Mississippi. These fees are per order for FedEx delivery.
Because we do not know your weather conditions, it is IMPERATIVE that you notify us of a specific ship date via the comment section during your check out or by a separate e-mail. If we are not notified of a specific ship date, we will schedule your plant order to be shipped on our next scheduled ship date upon receipt of the order. To help offset the additional cost of shipping liners 251 square feet to 400 square feet (or any combination of liners totaling 251 square feet to 400 square feet), you incur a delivery handling charge of $59.95. Liners 401 square feet or larger (or any combination of liners totaling 401 square feet or larger) (REQUIRES SHIPPING VIA MOTOR FREIGHT) incur a delivery handling charge of $149.95. There is no additional delivery handling charge if additional products (excluding aquatic plants) are ordered with pond liner. Square footage = length of liner x width of liner.If you place an order involving any of the above product situations, Aqua-Mart will automatically include the appropriate shipping charges to your order.
Aquatic plants are an exception to our policy
Not all plants are available at all times. We reserve the right to substitute with a similar plant or plants of equal or greater value.
Aquatic Plants
Plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays from mid March until weather
forbids in late-fall. Tropical plants are only available until approximately Labor Day.
Aquatic plants must be ordered separately from other items as they are shipped via
FEDEX. Therefore, if you are ordering plant containers, please specify a later ship
date for plants to ensure arrival of the containers prior to your plants. Plants are
shipped “bare root” or “soil-less”. These are healthy, viable plants that are removed
from soil for shipping and must be returned to water/soil immediately upon arrival.
Our guarantee is for arrival of healthy, viable plants. If you should receive a plant that
appears to be in unhealthy or damaged condition, we must be notified within 24
hours of your receipt of plant materials. Any future claim of plant’s failure to thrive will
be based on plant condition upon arrival. Early ordering is highly recommended,
even if requesting a later ship date.
Returning Merchandise
We have taken extreme measures to provide information needed
to make an informed decision regarding purchases. In the event an item that you receive
is not what you expected, you may return it to us provided: the item has not been used: the
item is in the original packaging; and all parts, instructions, etc. are enclosed. Books,
software, and ALL custom cut products, including but not limited to, pond liners, filter material, netting, and tubing, are non-returnable. The customer is responsible for
freight costs to return the unused item(s).
ALL returns require prior authorization, and an RMA (return merchandise
authorization) number, which must be on the inside and outside of the returned
package. The return authorization number and return address can be obtained by
contacting us with your request. We are unable to accept packages that do not have
the RMA number on the outside of the box. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of
your invoice, and a note of explanation regarding your dissatisfaction with the product. A
15% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit (which will be retained as an open
credit on your account that can be used with your next order). The only exception to the
15% restocking fee is if you order replacement items of equal or greater value. We will
waive the 15% restocking fee on replacement shipments, but we must charge an additional
delivery/handling fee when replacement is shipped.
Damaged Merchandise
Should your package arrive damaged, it is best to refuse the
package, and notify us immediately. We will promptly re-ship the merchandise to you, and
file the damage claim with the carrier. If you sign for the merchandise in satisfactory condition,
it then becomes your responsibility to file the damage claim with the carrier. If the damaged
package is delivered without your signature, notify us immediately, and we will file the
claim with the carrier. Please retain all packing materials until the package is inspected or
picked up by the carrier.
Defective Merchandise
We take pride in selling only quality merchandise from reputable
manufacturers. However, there are occasions when a product is defective, and is under
warranty from the manufacturer. Should an item fail that is under a manufacturer’s warranty,
please notify us immediately. We will guide you through the return/replacement policy for
that particular manufacturer.
Out of Stock Items
From time to time, there are unavoidable shortages of our inventory,
and an item may not be available at the time your order is shipped. This occurs when the
demand for an item is higher than expected, or the manufacturer is unable to fill our order
due to shortages of materials. We do apologize for this inconvenience. We will not hold
shipment of an order until it can be filled completely. We will ship all items in stock, and
promptly ship backordered items as soon as possible (with no additional delivery handling
charges). Aquatic plants are not placed on backorder when out of stock, and must be
reordered if still needed. Should a plant not be available at the time your order is shipped,
you will receive an open credit on your account to use toward your next purchase. If only
one item priced at $7.50 or less is not in stock, we will be unable to place this item
on backorder, and this item should be reordered at a later date. If an item is not
shipped, and is not placed on backorder, we will notify you promptly via credit memo.
Ordering Information & Terms
Phone-in orders are accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.EST. Faxed in orders as well as Internet orders are accepted 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Please include your phone number on mail-in or
fax-in orders. Most dry-good orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours after receipt.
We make every attempt to ship aquatic plant orders within 24 to 48 hours also.
However, during peak season of mid-April to mid-June, this is not always possible.
Due to our limited shipping schedule for plants and the high demand during this time,
we are forced to ship on a “first order - first ship” basis. EARLY ordering is necessary
to ensure arrival if a specific date is requested or required. We are strictly mailorder…
no local retail or walk-in sales.
“Please note, if an address correction is made by UPS after the product has been
shipped, and it is determined a valid UPS address was not provided, a $5.00 charge
will be applied to your account.”

product questions, and offer suggestions regarding the suitable options for your
particular application.
Payment
Payment must be made at the time the order is placed. We accept Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, Discover and PayPal. Prepayment through mail-in orders can be made via personal check,
money order, or certified check. If ordering by mail, please ensure appropriate delivery
handling charges are included. There is a $25.00 return check fee. No C.O.D.
shipments. Orders outside the United States must be paid in US currency - money
order or wire transfer - or via credit card.
Shipping - within the continental U.S. is usually via UPS Regular Ground. Special
delivery services of Next-Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select are available. Should
you require special delivery, you would be invoiced for the actual freight charges
incurred to ship the package. We can give freight estimates on these special services
upon request. Because these charges are based on actual weight of the items ordered,
we must know the exact items you would need to have shipped before we could offer
a freight estimate. UPS can not ship to P.O. boxes; therefore, please include physical
address. Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, and other areas
outside the continental U.S. will be charged actual freight/postage charges
incurred with the shipment. Aquatic plants are shipped via FEDEX. We do not ship aquatic plants outside of the continental U.S. The greenhouse ships aquatic plants on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sales Tax - of 7.5% must be added to all orders being shipped to Florida residents.
Prices - in this on-line catalog may not match the prices in our printed catalog as we offer web only discounts and prices may change by the manufacturer during the year. This may reflect on our website, but will only be printed in our catalog once per year.
Order Cancellations -
Most orders ship within 24 to 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays so there is
usually a very small window of time when an order can be cancelled. If the order has been shipped it can not be cancelled.
There is a 5% cancellation fee. This fee covers the cost the bank has charged us to process
your credit card transaction.
