Perennial-will bloom year after year even
in the coldest areas of the 48 contiguous
states. Generally, flowers float on the
surface of the water. Blooms can last for
3 to 5 days, closing in the afternoon...and
re-opening in the morning. Should be planted
in an aquatic container at least 3-5 gallons
in size. The larger, the longer it can be left
undisturbed before repotting is necessary. Full
sun is preferred(at least 4 hours per day). Use
a rich garden soil(not potting soil) and fertilize regularly. Plant shallow, as they grow up and
out, not down.
